Armstrong at Bristol Motor Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway to go along with two prior starts in the Camping World Truck Series. He has a best XFINITY Series finish of 23rd at the track known as "The World's Fastest Half Mile".

Dakoda finished 30th in the Spring race earlier this season at Bristol.

Dakoda's Thoughts on Bristol Motor Speedway:
"Bristol is a small track that produces rough racing.  It reminds me a lot of the tracks at Winchester and Salem in Indiana that I grew up racing on.  Track position is very important at Bristol as passing can be difficult.  It will be important for us to get the handling on our No. 28 Winfield Toyota in our practices so we can put in a solid qualifying effort."

"We really struggled in the Spring race and it was probably one of our worst races all year.  We have clicked here lately and have some good momentum on our side so we look to keep that going with a solid race on Friday night."

Remembering Bryan Clauson:
JGL Racing will pay tribute to Bryan Clauson this weekend at Bristol by running a special BC logo on the C-Post of their No.28 Winfield Toyota.

Dakoda was very close to BC is his early years of racing.  Bryan raced for the family owned Armstrong Racing and won a Midget Championship with the Armstrong's. Dakoda and Bryan grew up racing together and spent a large amount of time with each others family.

"Wow, I still cant believe it," stated Dakoda.  "I am at a loss for words.  Such a tragedy.  RIP Bryan Clauson."

Steven Lane, crew chief of the No. 28 Toyota, worked with BC during his days at Ganassi Racing.  Bryan attempted a few starts in the Sprint Cup Series led by Lane but their attempts were washed out by rain cancelling qualifying.

"What a tremendous young man BC was," added Lane.  "Bryan was a true talent in our sport and our thoughts and prayers go out to the Clauson family."

Mid-Ohio Rewind:
After a good road course learning experience at Watkins Glen last week, Dakoda Armstrong and the JGL Racing team looked to put that to use once again as the series headed to a road course for the second consecutive week.  In adverse weather conditions of heavy rain, Armstrong would keep his No. 28 Winfield Toyota safely on course and come home with a 21st place finish in the running of the Mid-Ohio 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
