Armstrong at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his fourth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to go along with one Camping World Truck Series start at the track. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 22nd at the Las Vegas track which came in the event last year.
Dakoda's Thoughts on Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
"Vegas is a slick track that always has you fighting to find grip and the bumps down in turns one and two add another element. Combine this with the new package we are running and it will be a challenge to get that right balance on your car that you need."
"We learned a lot last week in Atlanta with this new package so we will use that as a starting point. We had a pretty good run last year at Las Vegas before some fuel mileage miscalculations hurt us in the race. I look forward to a solid run and bringing home our No. 28 WinField United Toyota to a good finish."
Atlanta Review:
Coming off a solid start to the season at Daytona last week, Dakoda Armstrong entered the challenging Atlanta Motor Speedway with sights set on some early season momentum. After an incident in qualifying, the New Castle, Indiana native would start shotgun from the field and grind out a 21st-place finish in the running of the Rinnai 250 at the 1.5-mile speed plant located in Hampton, Georgia
